Whispers

At 5:12 am on April 18, 1906, the ground beneath San Francisco shook. The result was devastation on a massive scale, with a loss of life so great that the number of fatalities is still being debated today. Among the survivors were a handful of homes, businesses, and government buildings. In 2006, I set out to document what remained of these structures.
